Fragile X Syndrome

The Michigan Department of Community Health describes Fragile X as: Fragile X syndrome is a genetic condition that occurs in people of all racial and ethnic backgrounds. It is more common in males, but also affects females. Fragile X syndrome is a developmental disorder that affects learning and behavior. It occurs in about 1 in 2,000 people.
